Make a lyric video from your own words
Choose an MP3 or WAV track, paste one lyric line per row, and listen to the song. Mark each line at the playhead or enter its start time in seconds. The next line replaces the previous one; the last line stays until the track ends. Leave an instrumental introduction by starting your first line later than zero.
Pick a visual style and preview the whole song before exporting. The same lyric renderer is used in the preview and finished MP4. Free videos carry a watermark and are for personal use, with a six-minute, 50 MB input limit. Use music and lyrics you have permission to publish. Optional transcription produces draft words, not verified singing alignment. Correct mistakes and set the timing yourself.
How line timing works
Play the track and mark the start of each line at the playhead, or type its start time in seconds. Keep the starts in increasing order so each line replaces the one before it. The final line continues to the end of the track. To leave room for an instrumental intro, set the first line after zero; no lyric is displayed before that point. Listen back through each transition and adjust starts that arrive too early or late.
Transcribe or paste your own lyrics
Paste your own words with one line per row to prepare lyrics without sending audio for transcription. If you choose Transcribe, the audio is sent to a third-party provider to produce a draft. Transcription is optional and does not align sung words with the music. Review spelling, missing words and line breaks yourself, then set the start times while listening to the recording. Preview the corrected lyrics before export.
Export the timings as SRT
Download SRT after entering valid line times. The subtitle file uses the same lyric text and start and end times as the video timeline: each line ends when the next begins, and the last ends with the song. SRT contains timed text, not the music or visual design. Keep it beside your MP4 if you want to reuse the subtitles in another editor. After changing words or timing, download a new SRT to match your latest video.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Before you press play.
Check transcription, manual timing and lyric video downloads before you begin.
Does this automatically transcribe my song?
You can upload audio for optional transcription. Groq handles the first request; APIMart may handle a backup request if Groq is unavailable. Review the words and set timing manually—automatic song lyric alignment has not been verified.
Can I change the look of the lyrics?
Yes. Choose any of 12 visual styles, three aspect ratios, a color, track title and artist. Timed lyrics appear in both preview and MP4. Audio is sent to a provider only when you click Transcribe.
When can I export a lyric video?
Add your audio and lyrics, then enter each line’s start time in seconds. Once the times are valid, export a watermarked 720p MP4 for personal use. You can also download the same timings as SRT.
