MAKEVISUALIZER

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: September 27, 2026 · Version 2026-09-27

Who is responsible

Chen Wenjian is the individual operator of MakeVisualizer in China and the data controller for the processing described here. Email support@makevisualizer.com about privacy, access, correction, deletion or complaints.

Local audio and video

The visualizer reads your selected audio and artwork in your browser and renders the MP4 on your device. These files are not uploaded for visualizer rendering. The browser may use local temporary storage for exports; finished files are saved through your browser. We do not provide a cloud library or retain copies of your original visualizer files.

Optional AI requests

When you click story-based generation, your story, genre and mood are sent through our server to APIMart. When you click transcription, the selected audio is uploaded through our server to Groq, with APIMart as a fallback if the primary service is unavailable. Transcription is limited to 4 MB and six minutes. We return the result without intentionally adding the audio, transcript or story to our application database. Providers process data under their own policies; we do not promise zero retention or training exclusion by all providers. Do not submit confidential or sensitive personal information unnecessarily.

Optional four-track separation

When you confirm separation, your audio is sent through our server to Replicate to run Demucs. This upload is limited to 4 MB and six minutes. We store a job identifier, account or visitor identifier, input digest, status and cost reservation, not the audio or result files. Replicate processes the input and temporarily hosts the output. Its API retention policy describes automatic removal of prediction data after one hour; download results promptly. This is a provider policy, not a promise of immediate deletion from every backup. Separation can produce imperfect results.

Accounts, payments and usage records

Google sign-in through Neon Auth supplies account identifiers, email and profile information needed for authentication. Our database stores account identifiers, purchase references, plan and credit entitlements, credit expiry, export authorization and completion records, and limited AI usage/cost-reservation records. Export settings may include the selected template, format and duration and a configuration digest. AI usage records contain provider, operation, time, status and reserved cost, not the submitted content.

Waffo Pancake handles checkout, tax, payment receipts and refunds as Merchant of Record. We send the account email, purchase reference, product and attribution metadata needed to deliver the correct plan. We receive transaction and refund details to maintain entitlements. Full payment card numbers and security codes are collected by the payment provider, not our application.

If you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Please do not include card details, passwords or private source media. Hosting and analytics services may process IP addresses, browser and device details, page visits, request times, errors and interactions. We do not collect your Google password or operate a public library of your media.

Cookies and analytics choices

Essential cookies and browser storage support authentication, an anonymous visitor identifier, request limits, local editor operation and your privacy choice. Optional Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity analytics load only after you select “Accept optional analytics.” Clarity may collect interaction and session-replay information. Do not enter sensitive information in stories or other free-text fields. Declining optional analytics does not block the editor or checkout. Use “Cookie choices” to change your decision; revoking consent reloads the page, so finish or cancel an active export first. Existing third-party cookies may remain until cleared in your browser.

See the Google Privacy Policy and Microsoft Privacy Statement for their processing. Google Tag Manager manages tags; the data collected depends on the tags enabled. We do not treat your consent to optional analytics as permission for unrelated marketing.

Why we process information

These bases apply where recognized by applicable law. Where consent is required for a particular activity, we obtain it. We do not currently operate a promotional mailing list. Necessary replies, receipts and security or policy notices are distinct from marketing.

Service providers and international processing

Our providers include Vercel for hosting, Neon for authentication and database services, Google for sign-in and tag management, Microsoft Clarity for optional analytics, Waffo Pancake for payments, and Groq/APIMart for selected AI operations. These services may process information outside your country. We limit transfers to information needed for the chosen feature and use applicable contractual and legal safeguards where required. This policy does not assert a specific data-residency guarantee.

Our operator is in China and providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Applicable provider contracts and transfer mechanisms govern their processing; we do not claim that every provider stores data in one country or that every transfer uses the same safeguard. Contact us for information about a specific transfer. We may also disclose necessary records to comply with lawful requests, protect rights or resolve disputes. If the service is transferred to another operator, we will explain material changes and applicable choices.

Waffo may act as an independent controller for payment and compliance records; see its Privacy Policy. Provider terms do not replace our responsibility for processing that we control. We do not use submitted content to train our own AI models.

Retention and security

Retention is administered through periodic manual review; it is not a promise of instant deletion from all systems. Records reaching their applicable deadline are deleted or de-identified. Restricted backups and provider-managed records follow their own retention cycles. When a legal or dispute exception applies, we limit use to that purpose and review it when the exception ends. We can explain applicable exceptions when you request deletion.

We use encrypted connections and access controls. No system guarantees absolute security. If a personal-data breach occurs, we assess and contain it and notify affected people and authorities when required. Where GDPR requires supervisory-authority notification, we do so without undue delay and, where feasible, within 72 hours of becoming aware; notification to affected people follows the applicable risk threshold and timing rules. Other applicable laws may impose different duties.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request information about our processing, access or a copy, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection to processing, or withdrawal of consent through our support email. We respond without undue delay, normally within 30 days and no later than any shorter applicable deadline (including one month where GDPR applies). If a lawful extension is necessary, we explain the reason and expected timing within the initial period. We may need to verify your identity and explain any records that must be retained. You can decline optional analytics, refrain from AI uploads, or continue using local tools without an account. We do not sell your personal information. You may complain to the relevant data protection authority where applicable.

Children and updates

The service is intended for people aged 18 or older who have reached legal majority where they live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has supplied data, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate. Material policy changes will be announced on the website at least 14 days before taking effect, with notice to affected account holders where appropriate. Urgent legal or security changes may take effect sooner with an explanation. We update the date and retain prior versions. Processing that requires new consent will not be enabled merely by changing this text.
